The Buddha's Teachings on Everything Changes

The buddha often used similes, you know, and metaphors to bring his teachings home. The image is expressed in a very few words in a short poem called samsara,. Samsara, te wheel around of conditioned existence. Castles of sand, sand castles at water's edge. You know, the fragility and the impermanence of these constructions. These sand castles are so clear. Now a wave comes and washes them away... Or maybe a heavy rain comes and demolishes the sand castle. So obviously it's subject and vulnerable to changing conditions.
