In training to do something so long and an multi day, it's not necessarily about training the running aspect. It's about training mobility, flexibility, strength, being able to take that wear and tear on your body but also its environmental and its from a food perspective. We already know youre going to run really far every day, ok? That's a huge bulk of stress, and that's gong to affect your capacity to recover. So i have to kind of train myself physically and mentally as best i can, but know that i'm going in order to get to the starting line.
