The Importance of Personalized Learning
personalized learning is where you actually not have different learning activities but for the individual. We focused on imbedding their strategies directly into their immediate crriculum. In languages, as you said before, there's this inbuilt mechanism within languages, namely around flash cards. If they use those flash cards over and over and over again, they're practising their own current level. And that creates what the borks talk about: The illusion of competency.
