There's this myth that mine frormest meditation is about not thinking. Most of the time people are dipping in, just picking a meditation hat kind of thing. The mind is an experience like the breath. It's something that's most of the time just happening for us and to us. And once we begin listening to thoughts, that's when they lose any kind of negative power over us because they become a choice at that point.
