How to Reduce Research Waste
I was a very interesting panel talk last week, which was kind of on that topic of reducing research waste. It's not just about the impact of the papers, but actually reducing the potential waste. They're getting interested in this stuff. And I think this has shown up primarily in the different considerations about different changing elements of grants schemes. So many people who are in research, scientific or academic adjacent startups and entrepreneurs, I'm always rooting for them.
