Greetings and Farewells

There's often several different ways to greet somebody and they can have different levels of formality. Religious things can come into play in both greetings and farewells as I'll come to that a little bit further on. In many European languages you have like German Guten Tag, Spanish Buenos Dias which are saying hello to a person. It's one thing there are a lot of these will be fairly short. And sometimes they have good entries, sometimes they don't but looking at these you can see a pretty good range of where things can come from.
