Stress is a beautiful biological event that we are exquisitely well equipped to deal with. In the recovery, we actually turn on a lot of healing or salutary responses to clean up, clean up the mess from stress. And in studies, when people induce more of a positive challenge response instead of a threat response, people actually perform better and they feel more positive emotions during stressful situations.
