How to Train for a Marathon

For me, I just love having that frequency and maybe not beating up the body as much with the longer runs. You can definitely take complete rest days if you find that that helps you to recover better. For some people doing three or four days a week is easier on their schedule because it gives them a complete day off to take care of family, work, etc. So obviously in that case, training should be designed to fit around your lifestyle.
