How to Get a Higher Response Rate

Do not go after people who are currently in the limelight. Give people an easy out. When you're emaling someone busier than you, you better meet them where they are. The other thing is, we call this to close the loop technique. Once you meet with someone, so many people just disappear forever. So one thing i encourage my students to do is follow up with them two weeks later. That's how you build a real relationship.
