The Complete Stress Response Cycle

The complete stress response cycle has a beginning when you perceive the threat, and an end where your body receives the signal that it has escaped from this potential threat. This is excellent news, because it means that you don't have to wait for your stresser to be gone before you can begin to feel better. Good thing, because most of our stressers are what are called chronic stressers, that are there day after day, week after week, year after year.
