The Importance of Emptiness
Shinutah is translated often as emptiness. I always remember Ratna Shuri, who at the time of this, of my memory, was a venerable dharmaturani of 80. So I always like to bear that in mind when I talk about emptiness. Bante reminds us that Shinutah was originally the Buddhist communication of his transcendental awakened experience. It's an experience and it points to the way in which we may ourselves experience that truth. He says its sole purpose is to take us across the waters of birth and death, the deathless.
