Is a Higher Fat Diet the Way to Go?
If you want to build muscle strength and get at least 40% of your daily calories from fats, a higher fat diet is the way to go. Healthy fats do significantly impact your testosterone levels. When you start loading the fats, it doesn't leave much room for carbs. Research has shown that especially when you're cutting there are definitely benefits to higher upwards of 1.2 grams per pound which I recommend when you cut.
