Is There a Way to Pay Off a Mortgage?

William says he does a lot of recreational maths with his son Isaac. He also uses spreadsheets to work out how much time is needed for certain tasks. William believes the primary curriculum should ask some questions that are not asked enough in secondary schools. The answer might be actually no algebra is the best use of trigonometry or whatever, but I have a sneak suspicion maybe not and maybe not for the whole math curriculum that we have so it's worth asking.
