Isotonic resistance training doesn't improve hypertrophy results relative to isotonic training, which kind of makes me think that accommodating resistance probably won't positively affect hypertrophy either. One could make the case that it would be beneficial. Another potential mechanism, or at least like proxy measure associated with hypertrophy is level of muscle deoxygenation.
