The Importance of Rest and Not Climbing

The one thing that for me stood out the most and also replicates or mirrors what I have learned about myself. Resting and not climbing quite as much, whether it's overall or just in parts of the week or the year is an incredibly powerful tool. For any of us that are wanting to improve in our climbing, then we're essentially saying that if I want to improve season upon season, I'm going to be spending a significant part of my year in a zone of discomfort,. overload, pushing your body to adapt.
