The Importance of Jay Walking
Motardom needed to market the idea that accidents could be the result of reckless pedestrians. One judge in particular angrily denounced the idea that you could ever have such a thing as a reckless pedestrian. Motardom took this word that had meant a kind of annoying pedestrian and gave it a new meaning: Jay walking.
