The vagus nerve is the largest cranium nerve in the body. It's responsible for a parasympathetic nervous system, right? The resting, digesting, more hormone balance and circadian rhythm throughout the day. Most people find themselves in an over-activation of that sympathetic nervous system - fight or flight stress state. A poor vagal tone or low vagal tone is basically a weak vagus nerve.
