The Importance of Timed Games
If you have a one o'clock Eastern time start game for the NFL, you're pretty sure that between four and four 30, that thing's going to be done. For soccer, US soccer or European football, you're basically looking at 45 minutes, maybe a couple minutes extra time. And that's of course what baseball is trying to do, but it's very difficult to time something when it basically you have a number of balls, a number of strikes and it could go on forever. I like the fact that they're now like, you know, just move things along a little bit.
