Strength Training Is a Vital Part of the Endurance Plan
A and the reason i picked two weeks is just what's worked well for me historically. You people prefer a three week taper, sometimes the plan can dictate that. I've had some really big buildups where i've hit some kind of historic volume metrix where i've decided to do a three week tapers. A lot of times, endurance athletes, it can be between strength training and, i think, mobility type work. They tend to be the things that get kind of pushed off to the side as things get busy or running takes up more time.
