The Relationship Between Hypnotizability and Personality Traits
No hypnotizability doesn't seem to correlate highly with any of the big five traits and the two you pick on, which makes sense. However, it does with another trait, architect again at the University of Minnesota. He did a number of studies on what he calls absorption. So the tendency to lose yourself in a sunset or a movie gets so caught up in a good movie that you forget you're watching a movie absorption. And that is correlated point six with hypnotizability.
