Cake Mixes

Cake mixes came on to our shelves after World War II. They were away for the woman to not feel like she had to be all day in the kitchen and that she could have some leisure time. But what they found with those first cake mixes was that the more the cook added to the mix, cracked the eggs, you know, added their own vanilla, the more they baked with them. So I think it's probably best just to sort of try out a couple of different products then go from there.
