How Clearport Made OTC Contracts More Customized and Bespoke
Clearport started with 15 natural gas contracts that were most liquid in the net gas markets affected by Enron default. The company then looked at other OTC products to find commonality between them and NIMEX rules-based program. It was generally, there was a lot more common, I think, themes than we thought, said Clearport chief executive Joe Wojcicki.
