A researcher by the name of Veach, he's at Virginia Tech, made a lot of noise a couple years ago. He was looking into historical texts and identifying that it was common for, in those texts, for the author to describe a period of first and second sleep. So if you go to bed early then wake up for a few hours and go back to sleep, that can cause a lot of anxiety. And insomnia is really more of an anxiety disorder, and there's multiple types.
