The Use of the Terminology of Damaged Statues and Cancell Culture
Ye maloney proposed a law which would basically penalize people that damaged statues much more severely, heavier fines. That policy has made its way through back into the programm. It could have created this weird combination between the idea of protecting heritage and perhaps demonizing those that want to damage it. So i think the use of that terminology has raised a few eyebrows.
