The way habit formation works is the more we do it, our brain learns the associations and we don't have to think about it at all. A lot of the books talk about a habit loop where there's three stops. And you can understand potentially why that would work with flossing. But let's step outside of the bathroom into our daily life,. We have to go to the grocery store. We have to know what we're going to cook. Um, we have to deal potentially with pushback from our families. I mean, there's so many layers that the habit loop, which is elegant, works really well in a situation where there is not disruption.
