I think one way that we're able to get there is if we had a way to better quantify the load and strain on the body for intensities that were more reliant on anaerobic energy production, right? And I think that TSS and whatnot makes sense if we're talking about relatively steady workload at a base zone, maybe a tempo zone. But it begins to fall apart when you go out and do the world's hardest quote unquote VO2 max workout. It's a TSS of 35 and it feels like you didn't do anything.
