The Cognitive Distortion in Menicogna Therapy
In traditional cognitive therapy, you identify what are called cognitive distortions right sort of errors in thinking like oh, that's black and white thinking Or that's jumping to conclusions or and then you restructure the thought to be more realistic or more rational. But one thing I wonder about is I find that there's still a lot of utility in noticing patterns of either distorted thinking or unhelpful thinking but just kind of stopping there. It has a quicker way to get people out of suffering because not all people who are overthinking have distortions.
