The Effects of PACO2 on Oxygen Levels in Emergency Rooms
The end-tidal CO2 in both groups was 40, which people would say would be fine. In fact, the blood gas that was done at that time showed a PACO2 of 60. And we were rather taken aback when we found those results. So there's a little bit of work to do coming into hospital and then early on in the emergency room that hasn't been answered by this question. Other questions? I think they see it. But I suppose before we completely leave CO2 control, is there an argument in some of these patients for a more individualised CO2 management? Do we need to look at cerebral oxygenation and see what the effects of our CO2
