The Effects of Fiber on Morning Cortisol

LZ Granderson: I was using a probiotic to control morning cortisol. He says fiber actually can help with your waking cortisol as well. LZ: It's definitely the case sometimes that people are missing some vital nutrients and they keep looking for it, which does cause them to overeat. And what we really found new was that, you know, people overeat all the time because they didn't like the feeling of an empty stomach; they wanted it full. "I think this is where you know, you could do the same thing through fiber," he says.
