We're going to close our eyes and notice whatever sensations arise as we feel a negative emotion. If you find that closing your eyes alters your breathing, you can actually open your eyes and just focus on the sensation. We'll also go into the second way to do this practice, which is if you're not feeling emotional in the moment, you can recall a period of time when you felt very emotional.
