Exploring Innovation and Implementation of Democratic Processes

This chapter discusses the lack of innovation and implementation of democratic processes in the United States, highlighting examples from Canada and Europe. It explores the difficulty of imagining alternative governmental processes outside the ordinary political system and proposes the use of citizen assemblies as a means to democratize the amendment process.
