Snapchat had a feature called stories where you could post random photos and they'd disappear after 24 hours. There were no public comments or likes to obsess over. Teens are a key demographic to any social act. They represent lifelong usurs, which means lifelong revenue streams. And face books. If teans were jumping to another apt that was a huge problem for instagram. Some teams inside insta gram suggested new features that would help take the edge off the pressure. But change is hard.
