Leve Cemendon and Murinone - What Are the Differences?
Shlso leve cemendan is a calcium sensitizing agent. It does not actually increase the intera cellular calcium concentrations in the heart, but rather increases the sensitivity of traponancy to calcium which is already there. This causes positive inotrope and opens e t p sensitive potassium channels resulting in some vaso dilation. Levo cemendon is metabolized hyppatically to active metabolites, which have a long half life of up to four days. Murinon undergoes a small amount of ai metablism, but the majority is excreted unchanged in the urion - it has a half life of one to two and a half hours. Both
