Donation of Red Blood Cells in a Paresis Collection
The most common source of pafed red blood sills in the united states is whole blood. But about 20 % or so are actually collected by a paresis. If you're at a place that does a lot of a pareses, you can expect the donation to result in a slightly lower hemoglobin bump than whole blood. And last but not least, one of the things that we did as an early stap was going through the fact that, yes, i don't need 65 grams of hemoglobin, but that went down to a functional 55 grams.
