In the morning and warming up is just such a powerful way you actually get a release of cortisol. I know it gets a bad name for stress and all sorts of things, but it's great in the morning to give your brain that boost. If you do warm awake, you can actually put off your caffeine for about 90 minutes because you'll get a good boost of cortisol. Then take your caffeine for if that's what you like to have your coffee or tea in the morning.
