The nervous system is actually sending out all right, it's activated. There's a message sent to your brain that something bad is going to happen. Your heart starts beating faster because your heart is trying to pump oxygen into your big muscle group so that you can prepare to run away or fight off a bear. You don't really need to have fine motor skills to run away. And you get sweaty, you know, why do we get sweaty? It's because our body's like preemptively regulating temperature in the event that we need to exert a lot of energy. Sometimes you got the bubble gut and need to go to the restroom because of anxiety. That's your body kind of cleaning out
