Do You Think Slow Pace Breathing Could Improve Attentional Processes?
slow pace breathing is linked to better executive function. It allows the player to perhaps mentally reset, but they're also getting a physiological benefit from it as well. We've been looking at utilizing it prior to, for example, hitting a shot in golf. In team sports like net ball or football socker, that could be a period where you're resetting and using slow pace breathing.
