The underlying concept behind neuro diversity is that any way of being is situationally advantageous or disadvantageous including ADHD. For at least half of them there's some negative emotions around school they're not going to want to talk about school so have a better question and beyond that specific moment too. It's the messaging that you're sending to someone that their identity is primarily about how they perform at school.
