Seasonal effective disorder is a form of depression or anxiety. Symptoms can linger for up to five months after the actual season has ended. It's incredibly difficult to feel optimistic about wanting to do things, wants to be social and want to go out. This is certainly something I've struggled with and I would even say pretty severely.
