How to Make New Year's Resolutions Work
Gretchenroovin made a New Year's resolution this year: to nap for 22 minutes a day. Is it working? I love it. If you have the luxury of being able to take a nap in the middle of the day, there's so much research about why it's really does boost your focus and your productivity or energy level. But when there's also something Dan Pink wrote about the napa chino, what you can do is you can have a cup of coffee. It takes about 25 minutes to go through your bloodstream. And then the caffeine wakes you up. Any of the fun of having the coffee kind of gives you that kick to like wake up alert.
