Arobic Production of Energy for Distance Runners

Oroba talks about the different places that your energy comes from when you're doing different distance events. Arobic is at around 800 meters for highly trained runners, which is about two minutes in duration. Everything taking longer is predominantly robic. That is where muscle fibre typology and training adaptations come into play a lot. For those with higher distribution of fast twitch muscle fibres who may go ana, like, have a tiny bit of anarobic contribution near the end of the marathon.
