Do You Drink Too Much?

Stephanie: You can measure thirst as in rate your sense of thirst on a scale of zero to 10. She says this gives you insight into why you're not drinking more during exercise. And potentially what are the barriers or the challenges that are preventing you from drinking more, she adds. Stephanie: Once you have these extra bits of data, so the sense of thirst, the gut tolerance, the fluid availability, and then how what percentage of that fluid was drank, you can start to build a much better picture of your drinking behavior.
