The Benefits of Cold Plunges

My intention with the cold plunges was to stress my body out. I knew that going into cold water would be a stressor to my body. Some people are really intolerant of cold and or heat. Intolerance to cold is actually a sign of impairment in the functioning of your autonomic nervous system. So within about a week, I saw noticeable differences in both my physical well-being and in my mental and emotional health.
