What Are the Negatives of Rethinking School?
I think it goes everything from the structures of most schools, the box, if you will. We just know that the box and its structures are in many ways out of sync with what we know about learning. And so the phrase restructuring, or in your case, rethinking, does have meaning, form does follow a function. It's the confluence of what we want in our mission, what we're trying to achieve, and what we knows about learning that should be the way of framing everything else that happens in school.
