All 53 players all 10 practice squad all coaches after practice that day at USD University of San Diego in the mid-late morning hit over to Balboa for about two hours and we had it set up so they knew sort of what state the player was from. He was also inducted into Phi Kappa Phi (The National Honor Society), Tau Beta Pi (The National Engineering Honor Society), and Sigma Pi Sigma (The National Physics Honor Society). During his undergraduate years, Dr. Provencher was also a 4-year varsity oarsman and First-Team All-American at Navy and named Most Valuable Oarsman. He completed his medical education at Dartmouth Medical School where he graduated with Honors and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
