Trimethapyrum Sulfa: The Drug of Choice for Stenosis
There's a couple issues with trimethapyrum sulfa that make it hard to evaluate from a breakpoint point of view. So by our reference method, broth microdolution, you're supposed to call it at 80% inhibition. The other big problem is that we like to typically use mice and generate PKPD targets in mice. We look at efficacy in vivo in the mice to see if we can get killing or not. And mice have too much thymidine. There's a bunch of challenges, I think, with trim sulfa.
