How to React to Your Thoughts
It's not so much the original thought and feeling that are so terrible. It's your reaction to the original thought or feeling, the thought you then have about that thought. When my body image stuff came up from watching the film, I didn't freak out about it. And that made it much easier to shift it this time around. Often we're just trying to stop resisting our thoughts and feel neutral about them. But what if you loved yourself through the process of changing a thought?
