Procrastination is to voluntarily delay an intended course of action, despite expecting to be worse off for the delay. This helps explain some of the motivational deficits often encountered in adult ADHD. The four components that I want to discuss are the cognitive modification, how do we change thinking? Do we do things differently? There are some specific research on implementation strategies and then acceptance mindfulness persistence.
