How Much Sleep Do You Need?

i realize that i am getting from the time i go to bed until the time i get out, is pretty good. But how i feel depends on what was the quality of that sleep. If i cross the eight hour mark, or maybe seven ad a half, on a regular basis, it makes a big difference in quality of the day,. How do you prove that? There's no labs for this. Justcave gen gevity. So, quantity, quantity. And i would argue mine has been higher quality in so far as i went to bed and for less hours, but i wake up rested, and i don't wake up in the in between.
