Gdq has a rule that it has to be a game that's run on original hardware. emulators are very accurate so this is less of a concern for most speedrunning communities but back in the day this was not something you could do. For task videos to show up at hQD they also had to run on console and so when we think about taskbot it's actually kind of a misnomer to call it taskbot like there's a lot of these different projects some from micro 500some from true  from other people in the community.
